How a session works
Strength for the Muscles You Can’t See
Your pelvic floor is a group of muscles that supports the bladder and core and plays a role in bladder control and intimate wellness. Childbirth, aging, surgery and long periods of inactivity can leave these muscles weaker than you would like. They are also hard to exercise well, because most people can’t tell whether they are doing a Kegel correctly.
Pelvex does the contracting for you. While you sit on the chair, it delivers magnetic pulses that make the pelvic floor muscles tighten and release. The manufacturer states that a 30-minute session produces up to 12,000 contractions, far more than most people could do on their own.
How a Session Works
- Sit down. Take a seat on the chair, fully clothed. Nothing is inserted and nothing touches your skin.
- Set the intensity. Our team sets the strength on the touchscreen. It can be adjusted to what is comfortable for you.
- Relax. The session runs automatically. You may feel your muscles tighten and release in a steady rhythm.
- Carry on. When the timer ends, you can return to normal activity right away.

Things Patients Ask
Does it hurt?
Sessions are designed to be comfortable. The strength is adjustable, so we can start low and change it based on how you feel.
How many sessions will I need?
That depends on your goals, your health history and how your body responds. We will talk through a plan with you at your consultation.
Do I need to undress or prepare?
No. You stay fully clothed for the whole session, and there is no recovery time afterward.
Is this a medical treatment?
Pelvex is offered as a wellness device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. If you have ongoing leakage, pain or other pelvic symptoms, a medical evaluation is the right first step, and we can help you with that.
Can I combine it with other care?
Many people do. Tell us about any other treatments, medications or exercise programs so we can fit Pelvex into your overall plan.
